Project Management Principles and Performance Domains

Course Description

Project management has evolved due to emerging technology, new approaches (predictive, traditional, adaptive, agile, hybrid, etc.) and rapid market changes. To reflect this evolution, the Standard for Project Management and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide Seventh Edition is quite different from previous versions. It outlines 12 Project Management Principles, 8 Performance Domains, Tailoring and project models, methods, and artifacts. This two-day course looks at project value delivery systems, environmental factors, and governance in project management. It will define portfolios, programmes and projects and give an overview of the project management principles and performance domains. The three-day course option allows participants to engage fully with hands-on examples and content customised to their own particular environment.
