Building Energy Rating Training

The Building Energy Rating (BER) gives an objective scale of comparison for the energy demand and performance of a building. It will allow prospective buyers or tenants to factor in energy costs into the decision of buying or renting a new
home. The legal obligation to have a BER assessment carried out will apply to almost all buildings by 2009.

We are offering a FETAC approved BER Assessors Course, which will give successful participants the qualification necessary to carry out BER assessments as part of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. This course is specifically aimed at the assessment of new dwellings.
