Diversity in the workplace - subsidised courses

Diversity in business is much wider than the familiar race or gender issues.  At its core is the capacity of managers to influence all staff in understanding and working to achieve their organizational goals, whether in the Public or Private sectors.

Significant funding is available for qualifying clients on all of our Diversity courses.

Many diversity management courses show only the positive side of having a diverse workforce; no conflicts, no misunderstandings, no organisational change or compromise. These courses regard new employees as exactly the same as existing staff; but with the peculiarity of, for example, not being Irish or perhaps having a disability. The reality is that a badly managed, diverse workforce can be a source of conflict rather than synergy. However, if an organisation wants to compete in the Irish and global economy, these challenges must be acknowledged and managed.

When we learn to use diversity in the workplace, rather than shying away from it, we move from 'not knowing what to expect' from staff, to expecting high performance from all staff.'  Click here to view details on our Diversity courses and funding.

Credit Control - vital for survival

Average payment terms have stretched to over 60 days for many businesses.   Almost a third of SMEs report payment delays of over 90 days. This is unsustainable, financially crippling and must be addressed by all enterprises.

Businesses must manage their debtors or risk a gradual (or accelerating) loss of control, due to reduced cashflow and increased incidence of bad debt.

Our training helps to establish effective credit practices and demonstrate a systematic approach to debt collection, suitable for all enterprises.    We show participants how to deal effectively with slow payers, while maintaining good customer relations. We outline the best ways of using the telephone and other communication tools for business advantage and highlight the benefits of different techniques.

Windows Server 2003 - still important

Despite the release of Server 2008, many organizations will continue to rely on Server 2003 for the foreseeable future.  Whether its Windows Server 2003 or Small Business Server, our training can help in managing your installation.
We offer practical and intensive courses providing all the tools, information and skills required to implement and support Windows Server and SBS 2003. We do this in a fraction of the time required by other less focused courses on the subject.
