Oracle SQL - Getting Started

Whether it's 8i, 9i or 10G, more and more IT staff are being asked to manage Oracle installations and - at a minimum - be able to query them using basic SQL skills.
Our Introduction course is a common starting point in the Oracle database curriculum for administrators, developers and business users. The objective of this course is to provide an introduction to the SQL database language within the context of an Oracle database.

On our courses, you will get expert insight and learn best practices to get started effectively using Oracle. We can provide focused consultancy or training for all levels of Oracle users. For details on all Oracle courses click here (link to oracle page) or contact us for more details on this and our other Oracle courses or Consulting.

Make your training budget go much further - funding available

Professional Training are working with a number of agencies to provide financial supports for training in Management and Business Skills and some IT programmes. Funding of between 40% and 60% is available for non-government bodies, depending on the course structures.

To discuss how your organization can avail of funding, please contact Damian O'Neill.

Business Blogging – what you need to know

Innovative businesses have realised the benefits of blogging. A business blog - done properly - is a highly cost-effective way to share knowledge and expertise and build much stronger customer relationships.

So, how do you do it? By following the old rules of effective communication and applying them to this new format. This course, presented by Damien Mulley, will ensure you can effectively harness the power of blogging to generate results for your organization.

Excel VBA Programming

The ability to automate repetitive tasks is a key benefit of Excel, but one which many users haven't mastered. Creating customised commands or front-ends can make Excel a more useable package and simplify its operation.

To do this, you need skills in VBA and this course is the right starting point. Click here for further details or contact us for in-house courses.
