Rolling Forecasts with MS Excel 2007

".. Stable trading environments are a relic of the past..." (Jeremy Hope) Businesses today have to react to threats and opportunities more and more quickly. To respond, forecasting must be automated enough for changes to be reflected very quickly, ramifications understood and tactical planning and implementation suitably adjusted.

Our 'Rolling Forecasts with MS Excel' programme explores the methods for creating and maintaining a dynamic model to seamlessly combine history (last trial balance) with the future and to present the full period being considered: irrespective of the financial year.

The self-balancing model will be macro-driven where appropriate, to optimise automation. It will also feature graphical as well as spreadsheet type output and the production of sensitivity analyses.

The delivery format is an interactive case-study building approach, with aspects being built by the participants and the finished model is the main output of the course. Click here for further information, or email us.

Oracle Certified Associate

An Oracle Certification is a valuable, industry-recognized credential that signifies a proven level of knowledge and ability.

Oracle Database Administrator Certified Associate (OCA), is Oracle's entry-level certification and demonstrates that you have solid understanding of a job role and Oracle products used in that role.

An Associate Certification validates Oracle knowledge and is a great starting point for anyone in the early stages of their Oracle career. More experienced professionals who have not previously gained certification may also need the OCA to advance in their career.

To gain OCA certification, you are expected to pass two exams, one of which is a supervised examination, and the other that you can do over the Internet. An OCA is expected to have sufficient knowledge that will allow them to support database administrators or application developers.

Performance Appraisal training for managers

Performance reviews are powerful tools that can contribute to your personal success, the success of your staff, department and organisation. However, they are often only one of the many tasks that busy managers must perform and many feel uncomfortable about the entire process.

Our programme covers the essential preparation and structure of conducting the review and the actual performance appraisal meeting. It will focus on the importance of clear expectations that are understood by both parties, objectively measured and fairly rewarded in promoting and encouraging improved performance. This practical workshop is designed for managers who recognise the importance of having a transparent performance review process for employees and who want to refresh their existing skills or develop new skills in observing and giving feedback, listening and asking questions, for improved performance.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is the most widely recognised accreditation available to Project Managers worldwide.

Surprisingly, many managers have not underpinned their experience by gaining the certification and differentiating themselves from other Project Managers in this competitive job environment.

Our course is geared completely towards PMP certification and addresses the issues preventing learners from taking this final important step.

We include access to excellent exam simulation, one to one coaching and aim to ensure our candidates minimize the study time necessary and pass the certification exam on the first attempt.
