Prerequisites

Participants should have at least Intermediate Excel and database user skills. They need:
An understanding of basic data concepts
Ability to create and format chart outputs
Ability to create formulas using standard aggregate functions

Who should attend

This course has been designed for users who want to learn what Power BI is and how to develop reports. It forms the basis of generating or editing existing Power BI reports. The attendee will gain a solid understanding of how Power BI functions and will be able to generate reports and dashboards at its conclusion. It covers all the requirements needed to connect to a data source, generate a data model, create a report based on Data Visuals and publish the report to the cloud.
